It’s hard to find a good gaming keyboard on a budget, and even harder if you want one with a name brand. But today Amazon is offering one that you shouldn’t pass up. The Razer BlackWidow V4 75% (deep breath) white version is on sale for just $78.
This was the keyboard that made me sit up and take notice of Razer again when I reviewed it. It’s an almost perfect mix of features and form factor, with hot-swap switch sockets, excellent tactile switches in the box, high-quality PBT keycaps, a cushy wrist rest included, and a ton of effort put into getting the “feel” just right with multiple layers of internal padding.
It’s fantastic. Pretty much the only thing it’s missing is wireless — if you want that, I’d go with the similar K65 Plus design from Corsair.
Originally, this 75% keyboard sold for $190, which was pricey, but not unreasonable. At over 100 bucks off MSRP, and more than $50 cheaper than the black version at the time of writing, this is a deal you don’t want to miss if you need a gaming keyboard. It’s a great option all on its own, and serves as an excellent entry point into the world of keyboard customization.
