The Echo Show 11 is a fun little smart screen, featuring an 11-inch 1920×1200 touchscreen display. It’s equipped with room-filling spatial audio and about twice the bass of past models.
When used as a smart home hub, the Echo Show 11 can control countless Alexa-compatible smart devices with any extra hardware. You can control those devices with voice commands via Alexa, you can create automated and scheduled routines, you can pull video from cameras and doorbells, and you can even make video calls—the Echo Show 11 has a built-in webcam that automatically frames you just right.
At $190, it’s still a bit much for a first-time device if you have zero smart home gadgetry. But if you have some basic stuff already—like an Echo speaker, some bulbs, and a Ring video doorbell—then the Echo Show 11 is a great way to step things up, especially now that it’s on sale.
