Philips Hue lights are up to 42% off for Prime Day

Even after a recent round of tariff-fueled price hikes, Philips Hue still has plenty of deals for Prime Day, with the smart lighting brand serving up a dozen deals for its color bulbs, light strips, outdoor spotlights, table lamps, and more.

Philips Hue discounts on Prime day were something of a question mark given word that the smart bulb maker was raising prices in response to tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. But while prices on some popular Hue products have surged 10 percent on the official Hue online store, we’re still seeing some impressive Prime Day price cuts for Hue lights.

Topping the list is a deal for a 10-foot Philips Hue Solo indoor light strip, which is getting a 42% price cut to $40.42. The Solo is a color light strip that can glow in up to 16 million colors, albeit in a single color at a time. It’s a solid purchase at its $70 MSRP, and I recently picked one up for my home office. I have set to shine in a cool daylight color temperature during work hours and in a soothing purple hue in the evening. It’s a keeper. It’s a steal at $40 and change during Prime Day.

Amazon is also offering the 33-foot Philips Hue Solo for $111.99 on Prime Day, good for a 30% savings.

Next up is the workhorse of Philips Hue’s smart light portfolio: the White and Color Ambiance A19 bulb: You can snag a 3-pack during Prime Day for $79.64, or 41% off its usual list price. Designed to fit into a standard light socket, the Hue White and Color Ambiance bulb is bright, colorful, and—most importantly—dependable, particularly when paired with the Hue Bridge.

Ready to take your smart lighting outdoors? Perfect for illuminating a backyard barbecue table, the Philips Hue Go portable lamp boasts up to 48 hours of battery life (your mileage will vary greatly depending on the brightness you set), while its IP54-rated design offers partial resistance to dust and water splashes. The Hue Go lamp is also suitable for indoor use; I have two of them in my dining room. Normally $159.99, the black version of the Hue Go portable lamp is getting a Prime Day discount to $99.99, a 38% savings, while the white variant is on sale for $114.99, or 28% off.

Speaking of outdoors, it’s never too early to invest in holiday lights, and Philips Hue’s Festavia string lights have served me well over the years. You can set the Festavia’s LEDs to glow or twinkle in multicolored and white light, and like other Hue lights, your Festavia strings can be grouped with other indoor or outdoor Hue lighting products. The 65-foot and 130-foot Festavia strings are on sale for $153.99 and $251.99 respectively, a 30% savings on each.
