According to information from ChannelGate, AMD may be set to raise prices on several of its products, reported by Digital Trends and gathered by @harukaze5719 on social media.
Graphics chips for the consumer market, AI accelerators, and motherboard chips could all become around 10 percent more expensive in the fourth quarter of 2026—right around the corner.
AMD has apparently already informed its partners of the planned price increases. The reason? Increased manufacturing costs at TSMC, which produces a large proportion of AMD’s chips.
However, the reports don’t mention AMD’s Ryzen processors, and there’s currently no confirmed data to suggest that these will also become more expensive. Still, since Ryzen processors are also manufactured by TSMC, there’s a risk that higher production costs will affect them as well.
