Portable monitors are great, as we’ve discussed. And an OLED panel is a fantastic upgrade, for either a laptop screen or a monitor. So, why not combine the two? The answer is “because it’s expensive” — portable OLED monitors can cost double or triple the price of a standard USB-C-powered model. But Amazon is offering one for just $94.99 on Black Friday.
This is a fairly typical portable screen, aside from that fantastic OLED upgrade. At 13.3 inches and just .2 inches thin, it’s eminently portable, with a built-in kickstand that’s a little more sturdy than most of the combination stand/cases in these designs. I appreciate the dual USB-C ports and mini-HDMI, offering up a little extra connectivity for things like game consoles, though at just 60Hz it won’t handle the fastest PC games.
At the time of writing, this Innocn monitor appears to be going for a 27 percent discount at Amazon, $35 off, with no Prime subscription necessary. If you need even more savings, there’s a refurbished version of the same design going for just $80, though that could go out of stock at any moment. For other Black Friday deals, be sure to check out PCWorld’s monitor deals page.
