I’m sure this has happened to you too: You’re in the middle of a call on your iPhone and suddenly the call ends. Neither you nor the person you’re speaking to has hung up–at least, that’s what you think.
Chances are that you accidentally pressed the side button on your iPhone. This can easily happen when you’re holding your phone in your hand while having a conversation. The problem is that, since iOS 16, the side button has ended calls by default, and iOS 27 won’t change this behavior, either. It’s both handy and annoying! To stop this from happening accidentally, you’ll need to adjust this setting.
