Apple on Thursday released macOS 26.4.1, an update to the macOS Tahoe operating system. The update is for the M5 MacBook Air and the M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pros that were released last month, and fixes an issue that can occur when using content filter extensions and connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
The 26.4.1 update comes after Apple released macOS 26.4 at the end of March. macOS 26.4 included new emojis, new features for Apple Music and Podcasts, as well as security fixes. Check out our macOS Tahoe superguide to learn more about the Mac operating system.
Like the iOS 26.4.1 update, this release has no published CVE entries. To install the update, go to System Settings > General > Software Update. The Mac will need to restart to complete the installation.
