Ugreen’s Nexode 100W charger is down to $33.23 from $54.99, the lowest price we’ve seen for this four-port charger. One thing worth noting, though: in recent months, it has topped out closer to $43, so the real discount isn’t quite as Amazon suggests.
The big appeal of this charger is just how much power it delivers from such a small device. Thanks to GaN technology, you get a full 100W of power from a charger that fits into the palm of your hand. Chargers with this kind of wattage used to be much bulkier, so the portability is genuinely useful for trips and busy desks alike. GaN also brings improved energy efficiency and built-in protection from overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, and overheating.
You’ll get the most out of this charger when using a single port. Either of the top C-ports can deliver100W charging, which means you can use this thing with laptops just fine. That’s enough power to charge a MacBook Air to 55 percent in under half an hour.
If you need to charge multiple devices, there are four ports in total: three USB-C and one USB-port. In practice, that means you can power a laptop, phone, tablet, and pair of earbuds at the same time. Keep in mind that when several devices are connected, the top USB-C port tops out at 45W, which may not be enough to for some laptops, so check your device’s charging requirements.
You’ll also need cables that support 100W charging speeds to take full advantage of this charger. If your current cables don’t, it may be worth upgrading. This 2-in-1 Anker cable can handle up to 120W and is currently on sale for $15.
At $33.23, this is an easy pick if you want a compact charger that can fast-charge a laptop while keeping a few other devices topped up.
