Prime Day is here, and if you want a new Apple Watch, there’s never been a better time to buy one. Amazon has slashed the price of the Watch Series 11 to the lowest price we’ve ever seen: starting at just $279 for the 42mm model. That’s $120 off its $399 list price and $20 lower than the lowest price we had previously seen for this smartwatch.
Health tracking features got a major upgrade with this model. This watch will send alerts for high, low, or irregular heart rates, as well as flagging possible signs of chronic hypertension. Overnight, the watch will keep an eye on your vitals and create a daily Sleep Score so you know when you should catch up on rest.
And you get all the sensors Apple Watch is known for: ECG, blood-oxygen, temperature, heart-rate, and more, as well as the usual Apple Watch safety features. Fall detection and crash detection can automatically connect you with emergency services and alert your contacts, while Emergency SOS can send out a distress message just by holding the side button.
When we reviewed the Apple Watch Series 11, one of the things we loved most about it was the superb battery life. Unlike previous models, this one gets 24 hours of normal use instead of 18 hours, which makes a huge difference. That should be enough to get you through a full day of use, including sleep tracking, while a quick 15-minute charge gets you another 8 hours of use.
The only real downside of getting the Apple Watch 11 is that it’s not that big of an upgrade over the Series 10. If you already have the previous model, the upgrade may feel minor. But at this price, maybe you’ll want to upgrade anyway.
