Ugreen MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 25W review: Fast charging with a cooling fan

How fast does the MagFlow Pro charge each device?

  • iPhone: up to 25W (iPhone 16 and later); 15W (earlier iPhones)
  • Apple Watch: 5W
  • AirPods case: 5W

Those specs mean it should fast-charge each device, although speeds will decrease when all three are used simultaneously—with a maximum output of 32.5W. It ships with its own 45W wall charger so is well covered by that. Although the MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 doesn’t include a spare USB-C port itself—look to Mophie’s StealthCharge 4-in-1 Charging Stand for extra ports and cables—you could simply use the Ugreen wall charger for your MacBook, although not as speedily as the iPhone, Watch, or AirPods.

If 25W charging can be sustained, an iPhone could reach 50% in around 30 minutes; 45 minutes at 15W.

An Apple Watch, such as the Series 11, should charge from 0-50% in about 20 minutes.

(We use the 0-50% measurement as batteries charge slower as they get fuller, so the first 50% of a charge is the best comparison when testing different units.)

How does the MagFlow Pro stay cool?

All that high-powered charging generates heat, especially for the iPhone that can reach 25W for iPhones 16 and later (15W for earlier iPhones).

Most gadgets don’t like hot temperatures that can damage battery life and the iPhone has built-in safeguards that throttle the incoming power if it feels that it’s getting too warm. That means the 25W might be slowed to 15W or less, and even turned off until the phone cools down by itself.
