Logitech MX Master 3S mouse, refurbished
Logitech’s MX Master series of mice are generally considered the best options unless you want a gaming mouse with a DPI that matches the current Dow Jones rate. But no one ever said they’re affordable: The latest flagship Master 4 costs $120. But if you head over to eBay, Logitech is selling the penultimate Master 3S mouse refurbished for just $49.99. That’s about half the retail price.
The MX Master 3S is a quieter upgrade of the MX Master 3, which itself was only a big jump thanks to finally getting USB-C charging and a sensor upgrade. But that doesn’t mean it’s a slouch. It’s got that iconic, comfy shape and double scroll wheels — a variable, super-fast-or-super-precise one up top and a side wheel so you can scroll horizontally with your thumb. The materials are pristine, with a soft-touch finish and metal accents, though those with smaller hands might prefer the build of the MX Anywhere.
Four extra buttons (two on the thumb, one under the wheel, and one gesture button on the base) are all customizable in the software, as are a variety of extra functions that can be programmed for frequently used tools like Chrome and Photoshop. In terms of pure hardware, you get an 8000 DPI sensor that works on basically any surface, a long-lasting wireless battery, and multi-device functionality using Bluetooth or the included USB-A dongle.
This refurbished mouse is coming straight from Logitech, which says that it’s in “Excellent,” “Like New” condition. It also comes with a one-year warranty, just like the new version, though that is an Allstate warranty via the eBay Refurbished program. If you’re interested in this mouse you’ll want to get an order in quickly — the MX Master series has a habit of disappearing every time it gets a deep discount.
